Set in its own grounds and enjoying glorious views over the Conwy Valley, it offers walking on waymarked forest paths from the door. Just 2 miles south, at the meeting point of the Llugwy and Conwy rivers, are the craft shops and outdoor activities of scenic Betws-y-Coed village. Trefiw's wool mill and Roman spa are also 2 miles. Pub, shops and railway station 1 mile.
